Eighteen Minutes on April 21st
I have been so busy posting on the Royal Wedding, and switching out summer and winter clothes in our closets, that I almost forgot it was April 21st. (What kind of Texan am I?!) If you have every wondered about The Yellow Rose of Texas, according to legend, the battle only lasted 18 minutes because General Santa Anna was...preoccupied with a certain Emily West and had not set up proper scouts.

Why thank you! 21st April is a pretty important day in our house... L was four yesterday. But we also are aware it's the Queen's Birthday, and now this too. We will be singing the Yellow Rose of Texas (along with Happy Birthday to Lucy (and Liz!)) next year...
I saw. You were over here, while I saw "Four" and stopped by to give you congratulations. Happy b-day to your little one. And hang in there for the next five weeks.
